I use my roti pratas as puff pastries… sometimes… when I run out of puff pastries or when I am too lazy to make them.  Roti pratas work the same, if not better and thicker. You can fill them will anything. I used a small can of tuna here.

Ingredients:

2 Roti Pratas (cut into quarters) or 1 sheet of puff pastry
1 small can Tuna (smoked, chilli, anything!)

Method:

  1. Preheat oven at 190ºC.
  2. Place a teaspoon of tuna into each and seal by pressing the edges firmly.  They seal the best if the pastry is not completely thawed.
  3. Egg wash the pastry if you want. (Since I figure I will be wasting the rest of the eggs, I decided not to egg wash it)
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Cool it first before you put them in the lunch boxes.  Serves 2.
