Tianma Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 5 slices Yunnan Ham
  • 1-2 Yunnan whole Tianma ?? Gastrodia Root
  • 1 small Chicken I use black chicken if I can find them
  • 1 cup Stock
  • 5 dates optional
  • Salt/pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Soak the Tianma for 3 days until it is fully expanded.  Cut into thick slices.
  • Scald the chicken with hot water to remove impurities and smell.
  • Put everything into a double boiler.
  • Steam for 1 hour.
